P.S. I've just been reading the book, Nefertiti, by the Egyptologist, Joann Fletcher.(Yes, a Christmas present). Fletcher mentions two miniature coffins which had been found inside Tutankamun's tomb. Each contained the mummy of a stillborn female child. These were presumed to be Tutankamun's children by his wife Ankhesenamen.
X-Ray examination of these revealed that one of them had suffered from spina bifida, scoliosis and a shoulder deformity; thus having had passed on the scoliotic condition that had afflicted both Akhenaten and his son, Tutankhamun.
