i remeber back a few years in 8th grade. Our 85-ish year old science teacher was well "special" and has us as a lab use clackers to show nothing at all. but we sat there for an hour holding the stick out and holding the balls up on top and droping them to show gravity or somthing. but this was from the man who ACUALLY thought mercury was the biggest planet and kicked trash cans when he farted to "muffle" the noise.....good times....but then he retired cause they made him

I'd imagine there are plenty of uses for clackers in the classroom and I'm glad they've brought back happy memories.

Oooh, the ones my sister had given me, made my son try. He gave up soon, though. I don't feel they're the right ones anyway, I remember the strings being much longer, and the balls being larger, but then from a child's perspective, everything seemed to be bigger back then.
