as I see it the problem with dismissing Evil as a concept or even a reality becuase "if God is so on so forth then..." Circular argument continues, is an example of greek derived western philosophical tradition wherein hyptheses are considered in an 'either' this is correct 'or' this is correct mutually exclusive conclusion... as far as i am aware and correct me if I'm wrong throw to the sharks or whatever. the bible especially the old testament presents ideas in an either/and context to apparently opposite to contradictory concepts can be equally valid because they are not being considered in a 2 dimensional worldview.
Probably haven't explained myself very well but I think I understand what I mean...
