I liked it too...
It wasn't really a sequel though, except in the sense that a few of the characters were the same. Heller took the absurd characters fron Catch-22 and mixed them in with some real characters. The feel and tone of the books were quite different, as one would expect knowing that 40 or so years passed between them. "Closing Time" was really about what its like to get old, but it was still quite funny in parts. In that way, it reminded me of Vonnegut's "Timequake"
