Adam Smith developed an important theorie. He didn't discovered the truth (what many people think), which is much more comlicated.
We should always be very carefull with the application of this theory, which has often been extended by also very bright people.

DD - that is **** if you don't mind me saying so. Scotland and England were politically seperate but very much a cultural sounding board. Particulalry if you look at mid 16th c radical thinking which is what sets off the Enlightenment.
