'From A Jack to a King' was Bob Carlton's FIRST Shakespeare adaptation - not something which was designed to 'cash in' on 'Planet'. I THINK it was written when he was working in Plymouth, for the Theatre in Education company there.
And it's actually pretty good.

How very intriguing - every source I'd seen said that 'Planet' came first.
