Since I wrote the original Entry, the Firkin brewery in The Hague has been subjected to a hostile takeover by one of the local breweries, who have basically shut down the whole brewing operation. The pubs remain, but they no longer sell English-style ales. Some attempts have been made to arrange for the import of barrels of Fullers from Chiswick in London, but the prognosis is not good.
The Florin & Firkin itself, however, remains in good health. I will keep this forum updated with news as it occurs...
