Tony Iommi - excellent guitarist. Even moreso when paired up with Brian May. What'd you think of Rock Aid?
BTW Iron Man, I'm putting a link to your Entry in the Musical Wing of the h2g2 Historical Society:

I don't know if what i have to say relates to the current discussion but I noticed this entry come into the most neglected category. My favorite Black Sabbath tune is Hand of Doom. It's gloomy bass line has run a background tune through my mind for years since I first heard it. Sometimes in my lonliest darkest hours I drunkenly sit and hear the bass line begin and it is not long before I'm up walking and chanting..."Whatcha gonna do-o? Time's caught up with you-o. Now you take your turn, you know there's no return." Then of course that guitar riff hits me and bam I'm rockin...just thought I'd share

Here's a bold attempt at replying to both the above entries.
Haven't seen Rock Aid, unfortunately. I think that was in 1991, as far as I now, so I'd have only been ten or eleven when it happened. Is it available on video anywhere?
Hand of Doom is a classic track, mixing both mellowness with heaviness splendidly. It's been covered by someone, for the Nativity In Black 2 album, but I can't remember who.

Yeah, it's on video - collection of music vids from the contributing artists. Whether it's still available, I don't know.
Key: Complain about this post
