A Conversation for Constellations: Cygnus 'the Swan'

The Eye of the Swan

Alberio is a wonderful object to look at through a small telescope. The scope doesn't have to be that big to split the main pair of stars but to get the best colours you need to be looking when the sky isn't totally dark. If there is still some colour left in the twilight then you'll be rewarded with what has to be one of the prettiest (and easiest to find) objects in the night sky with the blue and orange of the stars shining through.
