You chose a /really/ bad day to put this article on the front page! Read todays newspapers - it's on the Guardian's front page. They've just discovered that hand-free kits act like an aerial and triple the amount of radiation your head is exposed to. A little update is probably necessary!

Ahh, but surely the main point of the article is that the radiation is harmless anyway... so the fact that some shields actually increase the radiation is pretty much irrelevant.
Made the front page, hmmm? *sigh* Health scares and more health scares... all supposedly backed by science... it can't do the scientific community any good, can it? Talk about loss of credibility...

Did the makers of the thalidomide drug look everywhere when they first tested it? Surely our definition of the appropriate "everywhere" in which to look makes a difference here?
