There is an interesting study in the BMJ (Are some people sensitive to mobile phone signals? Within participants double blind randomised provocation study by G James Rubin, Gareth Hahn, Brian S Everitt, Anthony J Cleare, Simon Wessely
BMJ 2006;332:886-891) which seems to show that that certain symptoms that people feel are caused by mobile phones can be reproduced by a sham "signal" that only warms the phone.
