I was in the local grocery store the other day and I saw a display of memory cards for cameras. The display said "Film for Digital Cameras".
The mind boggles. I guess when people began watching "films" on video cassettes and "dialling" telephones with a keypad, the englich language took a turn that will never completely circle back.
