FA Cup 2001-2005

While Wembley Stadium (England's national sports stadium) is being rebuilt the Millennium Stadium is hosting one of the World's most-watched sporting events, the English FA Cup final. The first one was won in 2001 by Liverpool's 2 goals versus Arsenal's one on a warm sunny day in a wonderful atmosphere of love, brotherhood and mutual understanding (honest - I was there!). At this time the stadium is booked up to the 2005 final although it really depends on when they finish Wembley - they've got to start it first!
This situation seems only fair since Wales played at Wembley while the Millennium Stadium was being built.
INTERESTING FACT: Of the 5 English Football matches held at the stadium last year (FA Cup final, Worthington Cup final, and playoffs for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd division promotion places) the winners every time were the team whose fans sat at the North end of the ground. This does not seem to happen in rugby.
