Smij - Formerly Jimster

Tom Baker, the most well-known actor to play TV time-traveller Doctor Who.

William Gladstone, 19th Century British Prime Minister.

Kim Cattrall - star of Sex in the City 9though she left there when she was very young).

TV Quiz host and journalist Anne Robinson (of "The Weakest Link" fame).

The McGanns - Joe, Mark, Paul and Stephen, all actors. Paul is possibly the most famous, thanks to his film work in movies such as 'The Three Musketeers' and 'Alien 3'. He played the most recent Doctor Who on TV.

Grand National winner 'Red rum' - the horse smiley - smiley

Leonard Rossiter - comic actor, most famous for playing 'Rigsby' in 'Rising Damp'.

Mike Myers - Canadian-born comic actor Mike's parents are both Scousers, and Mike can still do a very good take on the accent.

Sir Thomas Beecham, founder of the London Philharmonic Orchestra (actually, like myself, he's a 'Woolyback' - someone born outside of the Liverpool boundary) having been born in St Helens).

Rex Harrison - the original Dr Doolittle, and co-star of My Fair Lady.

Ken Dodd - another comedian, who hails from Knotty Ash (which, contrary to popular belief, is a real place near West Derby) famous for his surreal comic creations 'The Diddy Men' (who live in Liverpool's fictional Jam Butty mines) and his 'tickling sticks' (long feather dusters).

Miranda Richardson - the British Meryl Streep, good with accents, star of the comedy series Blackadder and recently appeared as the villainess of Tim Burton's 'Sleepy Hollow'.

Horror writer Clive Barker, creator of Hellraiser - which introduced the demonic 'Pinhead' played by fellow Scouser Doug Bradley!

Glenda Jackson - actress and now MP. Technically, she's from 'Over the water' though...

Arthur Askey - old-time comedian.

Craig Charles - poet, comedian and actor, star of BBC's Red Dwarf. Also his brother, Emile, and his ex-wife, actress Cathy Tyson ('Mona Lisa').

Derek Nimmo - posh 'vicar-type' character actor.

Screenwriters Anthony Shaffer ('Frenzy', 'The Wicker Man') and his twin brother Peter Shaffer ('Equus').

Newsreader and TV anchorman Peter Sissons.

Smooth crooning singer Frankie Vaughan.

Author Beryl Bainbridge.

and, if the rumours are true, Jack the Ripper!!

... and one famous Scouser who isn't - Bernard Hill, star of 'Boys From the Blackstuff' and 'Shirley Valentine' (and the captain of the ship in 'Titanic') is actually from Manchester, but does the best Scouse accent in the business.
