Eight days, seven days

The holiday is seven days in Israel, eight days everywhere else, I believe to account for the difference in time zones around the world.
In the USA lots of times it's spelled "Chanukah."
I look forward to your articles about Purim and Tu B'Shevat, along with the other fall holidays.

This is not true.
Chanukah is 8 days everywhere.
You are getting confused with Pesach (Passover) and Succos (Tabernacles) which are 7 days in Israel and 8 days everywhere else.
