I only ask because as a student I shared a house with someone who claimed that his dad was in the group, but left before they were famous. He was a Leicester lad, so at least the geography fits. Can't remember his surname though.

It's possible Geggs. The group members of the two four piece groups were in other bands prior to Showaddywaddy. Can you remember the surname of the missing member? If so I can do a little research for you.

Thanks. The guy I knew was called Craig, but, as I say, the surname escapes me. We didn't stay in touch, but then again, I was a bit of an idiot at the time, so he may not have wanted to keep in contact.
