A new way to burn CD's

If you got any useless CD's lying around, try frying them in the microwave, at full strength.
You'll get a nice electrical storm on the surface of the CD... you should stop if it starts smoking though.
When you take out the CD you'll see lots of small streaks from the tiny lightnings, very cool.
Oh, and I guess this is the sort of stuff that isn't covered by your fire insurance.

Alternatively, for a less dangerous way to view this incredible sight, buy the Adam & Jo video

Actually, if you time this correctly, you end up with a good zig-zig pattern over the CD. What you can do then is get a small clock mechanism, and fit it through the centre hole. I know some people who actually managed to sell quite a lot of these .
