Hopefully the Germans are more educated about these historical facts than I have been. When it came to my knowledge of the Nazi plight to take over the world, untill now, Hitler was the only name that came to mind. It was always obvious that he couldn't have done it alone but this put it into better perspective.

what a winning team they made together to achieve their goals only they were on the opposite side if our administrators leaders secretaries propagandists were that ambitious full of energy for progress!

Indeed. If their drive and energy could have been put to good use as opposed to bringing death and suffering, imagine what the world would be like today!

The world would be a bore had they succeded. This weekend I saw a guy with blue pig-tailes at the club,yes blue, I don't think they would have allowed such forms of personal expression. He seemed like a happy freak, and at the end of the day what else matters>?.

He was a bit more than a mascot, he was the crux of the whole thing. His 'minions' held him in such high esteem that they would listen to him ramble, then go and make up policy based on what they thought he wanted. Without him there would be no direction, and the chaos of the Nazi government would have meant that nothing would be done.

If one of the assassination plots had succeeded, the whole thing may have come down overnight, with Goering, Bormann and Himmler attempting to seize power.

Was Hitler clinicaly insane during the holocost(literaly certifiable). I know at one point in his life he was a painter or writer, something totaly opposite the ruthless psychopath we know him as. Too bad they diddn't have Zanex then the whole thing might have been avoided. It should be a requirement to hold goverment office("have two of these and decide if you want to push the button tomorrow")

Just think, if Hitler had the right equipment after Dunkirk, we could all be speaking German. Not that that would be a bad thing, only living in a police state would. The way Britain's going now though, I don't think we're that far off.

Theres a film about the life of Hitler and how he became an anti-semite. I question its historical accuracy but it's quite a good film despite not being stocked in most shops because of it's controversialness. It's called Max and there are a few place you can get it or rent it.

I'll look for it next time I happed to be in a rental store.

The arian race was(and still is)promoted as consisting of pepole with pure blood; those who had blond hair and blue eyes were thought to be typical<?> examples. Hitler had dark hair,I'm not sure about his eye's, how did he manage to pull that one off? It seems logical to assume there were other's in the riche with similar physical charcteristics.

I think that of all the Nazi top brass, only Heydrich and Himmler were "Aryan". Goebbels most definately wasn't!

So then where did they dream up the idea to create an aryan super race that they could not be part of?

That is one of life's great mysteries.
It's not like the German race is mostly blonde, blue-eyed people, I mean look at the German football teams of the past 50 years.

I must confess I've never looked uppon the German football team.

They never explained where the motivation for the idea came from. Hum It must have been wishfull thinking - "You are the company you keep".

Interesting theory. It's also interesting that a lot of the Nazis, including Hitler, had Jewish roots. It might be an extreme expression of self-loathing.

I think if you add that to the other obvious mental problems he and his cronies exibited it was the perfect breeding ground for their behivor. Inevetible. Destin.

Sounds horrible, seems possible

Both Hitler and Himmler, the leader of the SS who were meant to be the top aryan men were 'imperfect'. Hitler said that when he could kill himself because the world was ruled by aryans, he had succeeded and Himmler was only 5 ft 5.

That sounds like a suicide mission.? Crazy and suicidal are totaly different beasts.

Religous denomination would certinly have been a bigger variable.
