Great entry 
I remember watching a BBC wildlife program about scorpions when I was a kid that mentioned them glowing in UV light along with some other amazing stuff - They actually froze one in a block of ice then defrosted it with a blow torch and the scorpion scuttled off seemingly unaffected by the experience. They were also one of the few creatures found alive and kicking after the nuclear explosions over Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of WWII.
