Avogadro's Constant

Post 1

ITIWBS

Avogadro first developed the concept in context of studies of physical chemistry. It proved to have a utility that went beyond that, extending into quantum mechanics.

For example, the elementary quantum ('h', Plank's constant) equivalency of the rest mass of the neutron is a mole of elementary quanta, less the spin and momentum statistics of the elementary graviton multiplied by the elementary quantum equivalency of the electron. (The elementary quantum equivalency of the electron (or the anti-electron) is the same, by the by, as that of a gamma ray with an energy of 5.11 MeV.)

Size comparisons, a mole "...is approximately equal to the number of grains of sand on Earth."

Or, a mole of hen's eggs has a volume approximately the same as the Moon.
