I walk a short section of the Fosse Way between Easton Grey & Cirencester. The Way is in remarkably good condition (though recently suffering from 4-wheel drive vandalism). This section served as the boundary between Wessex and Mercia in Saxon times, and today it is still the boundary between Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. A nice continuity to reflect on while enjoying the walk.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
