I tried recently to return to the good old days and among the many problems I found that I could not sign a form with any kind of ink pen so that my signature would be legible on the triplicate and the nib would not be damaged. I tried to teach a child to write with a quill and decided that a students time is too valuable to spend sharpening quills and so the ink pens went the way of the horse drawn cart. Sad but ...
