I live in Vesterålen, which is the neighbour-region to Lofoten, and I want to thank you for writing this article.
I have seen it as my duty to write something about my homeplace/region/whatever in this magnificent forum called h2g2, but I have yet not had the time to do so, and this article of yours is for me a great relief. A big burden has been taken from my shoulders. Once again, thank you!

Hey, I just love fanmail. And I also love that whole western seaboard of Norway, I think you're really lucky to live there. You've just inspired me to knock out a few more Entries in the near future, on the Maelstrom and the like. Thanks!
