A Conversation for Forgetfulness
Just looking in the wrong places
Lisa the Freak // Poet by the Toga Started conversation Sep 14, 2001
I heard that everything you see, read, hear, etc., or do, is all kept in your subconscious mind until your brain sorts it. For example, if you walk into a room and glance around 'subconsciously', without really taking anything in (as it were), and then walk back out again, you probably won't remember much as to what the room looks like if someone queried you. But were you to be put under hypnosis, you would be able to relay exact details about the room.
That really freaks me out for some reason... and I'm always thinking about it.
