I haven't read Moore's earlier books, but I have read both "Stupid White Men" and "Dude, Where's My Country". I think that "Studpid White Men" is the easier read (being a bit less of a rant) but that both books make strong points using wit and humour and I think you have summed up both books really well here.

I've read "Dude, Where's My Country?" which points up the special relationship between George of Arabia and the Bin Ladens.
If you are interested in exploring the US-Saudi relationship in some depth and without the jokes you might do worse than check out Robert Baer's book "Sleeping with the Devil".

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
