so these noble gases were waiting to be discovered and separated from the rest Their own characteristics make them more useful in applied sciences but how do the rest of the gases react without them in their absence or they are just the same as before being separated ?

The rest of the gases react (chemically) just the same, whether there be noble gases in the mix or not. One might just have to consider that in the same volume there will be less 'normal' gas because the noble gases also occupy some space.
If we're talking about physical reactions, like energy transfer and things like that, there is a difference between a mixture and a pure gas, but that's a different story.
