Hmm. Very interesting entry.
Unfortunately I thought you used a few too many technical words, and I'm not sure if i would have followed the details on ATP without A Level biology.
Although you say it's not an article for the squemish (and I agree regarding the second half), perhaps the first half would actually be useful for such people who are disturbed by the subject? I say this through reasoning that if people better understand *why* the skin changes colour, a corpse may twitch or make a noise etc, it might not seem so creepy and unnatural.
To finish on a positive note, other than the fancy words, generally easy to read, and I've learnt some interesting details on the process of death.
