How thrilling to see that someone else can appreciate the multi-layered social commentary phenomenon that is the Chuckle Brothers.
I am privileged to be able to see them live at my local theatre, and I can see amongst the happy, laughing faces of children in the audience the more thoughtful faces of the accompanying adults marvelling at the skill with which they intertwine penetrating, almost Marxist, insight into today's searing social issues (the north-south divide, the breakdown in the education system, the unparalleled inability to carry out the simplest tasks) with real-time symbiotic affection and respect and superb, nay, Chaplinesque, timing.
I think they ought to run the country. Sometimes after a few 1664s I think they are running the country.
