A Conversation for Beer Bottles

I have friend who collects beer bottles. Presumably, if he had lived in the Communist block he could just have steamed off the labels, collected them and returned the bottles to the glorious motherland for reuse. It wouldn't have stopped him drinking like a fish however.

My children visited me in China ten years ago and the older one and I did just that, travelling round for eight weeks and drinking the local brew , washing off the labels and giving the bottles back or to "room-service". We have a wonderful scrapbook of labels (my favourite is "REEB")but can only remember one worth drinking, and no it wasn't the awful overhyped Tsingtau. The advantage of this colledtion is that it weighs very little and didn't break in transit.
I also have a collection of photos of Chinese rubbish bins, but that presumably belongs on a different thread.
