The sad thing about the Australian boomerang competitions is that they are usually won by Americans with hi-tech plastic devices

The high-tech are the way to go, these days. Of coruse, we have access to good high-tech boomerangs here anyway. Rangs in WA sell a good range, and I'm sure that the public stuff isn't even /half/ of what they've experimented with
