What do you mean about rumors of it being the center of pot smoking/growing? It is/is near the center of the aptly named "Green Triangle" of Humboldt, Trinity and Mendocino Counties. Humboldt County is the most populated of the three and Arcata has a ton of college students (we all know what that means...).
