One of the two things I would add to my fascination with Kearney would have to include the large truckstop, where I've found they do some incredibly fast oil changes.
The town also has a great place to get some welding done. Mike's was able to weld an aluminum part that no one else would touch.
A good aluminum welder is hard to find. And when you add to that a selection of decent diesel mechanics, Kearney is a fine place to land for a few hours.
