Wubbas

Supposedly, the word 'wubba' originated early in the history of talking motion pictures, when extras in a crowd scene were instructed to murmur 'wubba wubba wubba' to create a convincing long-distance impression of crowd noises. In modern avant-garde circles, particularly those influenced by the Discordian Movement, the term 'wubba' has been adapted to describe the extras in one's own life story, the disposable people without whom one could live just as well. As one sage remarked, 'Think of how stupid the average man is. Now ponder the fact that half of them are, by definition, stupider than that.'
It is a sobering thought to realise, though, that we are all wubbas in someone else's life story.
