h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

A few months ago, one of my proffessors in the middle of a lecture suddenly began talking about a couple of octopodes that were found in the act of copulation in the deep blue sea. This was very exciting, because nobody had seen anything like this before.

However, as the humans watched, a few strange facts came to light. For one thing, both octopodes were different species.

For another, they were both males. Everyone I tell this story to gets a kick out of it.

By the way, the lecture was supposed to be about antibodies.
