I just happened to notice that this entry was still being touted as a 'just now' addition, and peeked at the date. 03 Jan 2000?? Erm.. It's been at least since Dec 23, and it -still- isn't the 3rd of January -anywhere- (on Earth, anyway) that I know of.

It's post-dated so that it'll appear as a new entry on Monday. It allows us to put up new content over the holiday without having to be in the office. Anything for an easy life.

*laughs* ... How 'bout we just leave it as "Happy New Day" ? After all, with no ball to drop (no tv), and not much other fanfare (very slim crowd on IRC this year... unless I just wimped out before they all got home from their respective revelries) it just seemed to slip quietly into the next day without much fuss, from my POV.
