Cave Man - the movie

Great article, Giford! I appreciate your specifying early on that you are not referring to those namby-pamby paleontological cavemen but rather the heroic Cave Men.

But can it be possible that you have not seen the 1981 movie 'Caveman'? It's a perfect double-feature pairing with 'One Million Years BC'.

The movie's packed with Cave Man behavior, roles, and humor. Barbara Bach updates Raquel Welch's babe-in-a-bearskin-loincloth role with panache. (Did you know that OMYBC was filmed in Iceland? or Greenland; somewhere really chilly, at any rate - Raquel had to play the famous swimming scene while freezing her... bearskin... off.) Ms. Bach's not the star, though - that's Ringo Starr, in fact.

Discovery of fire, creation of music, hunched posture... oh, and the way Cave Men went about fishing smiley - biggrin

I definitely think you'd appreciate it.

Hi BC,

What apt initials you have.

I'll try to check this one out next time it's on.
