Yep, it's true - Bexhill is often used as a campsite for many organisations, including the BB - and with the BB I camped in Bexhill many a time. And the most exciting thing I found there was a Woolworths.
If you want a holiday by the sea - go to the Isle of Wight.

What was Bexhill named after? and isn't it interesting that Isle of Wight and Isle of Man mean the same thing? No, perhaps not. It's rather boring actually. Sorry

I thought it interesting, but you could also say that the Isle of Wight was named after King Alfred the Great's grandfather, who was Wightgar, King of the Isle of Wight.
