Now I'm here I can't remember -did you mention where (continent) tomatoes originated? Anyway, good entry but how I am gonna know when to bring my tomatoes inside when all my weather reports are in centigrade? A small point,granted, but then you are going global

I'm pretty sure that Tomatoes are a new-world crop. I remember an article pointing out that Christopher Columbus couldn't have had spaghetti with tomato sauce at his good-bye dinner for that reason.
Of course, I could be completely mistaken.
