A Conversation for Evil from a Western Perspective

Western view of evil

Without evil there would be no good. Evil exists everywhere,it's there with the maimed and the corpses wrought by war, it's present in the famine of many brought by the greed of the few. Evil manifests itself as willful slaughter, the misery of the displaced of the world are evil's spawn as are slavery, and exploitation. Western or Oriental -- individuals know intrinsicly what is evil and what is good. One needs no education nor even literacy to know evil. It's purpose? Something to eschew, just as goodness is something to go towards. It's a road sign informing us which way not to go.
