Here is a video by Austin magician and host of Scam School, Brian Brushwood that gives a quick lesson on how to play NIM. He's had other videos on NIM before, but they were oversimplified and typically relied on memorizing certain combinations for distinct arrangements for NIM, like the classic 3,5,7. In this video he explains it so it will work for any combination.
