It's with great sadness I note the recent death of Harry Secombe.

A very funny man, with the ability to ad-lib his way out of the most ridiculous situations, he will be missed both by fans of the Goons and those who came to know him in his later career of "religous broadcasting".

Who would have guessed that Spike would outlive them all?! smiley - winkeye

I Finally got to hear the goons on a special Goons night on BBC Radio 2, which i discovered, whilst searching for "Goon" on the BBC's 'Whatson' page-
What have I Missed??!

There were tributes to Mr Secombe, and a special programme dedicated to him the night before.

I Really like what i heard, and hope to hear more of the great series soon smiley - smiley

This link below is for my own personal pleasure because i can't be bothered going to type it in the box up there ^^^
