I'm actually going to Mechelen, about 45 minutes form Brussels, but I will be flying via Zaventem.
Brussels Zaventem is the Keep Fit Airport, wioth miles and miles of corridors and none of those powered walkway thingies like they have at Heathrow.
Brussels is famous for beer, chocolate, beef, chips and lace. Can you think of a better recipe for an enjoyable evening?

The corridors are longer than ever, but the British Midland Diamond Club Loungs has a selection of Trappist beer

Actually Zaventem does have a few of the moving walkway things at the arrivals end -although when I arrived some of them were switched off. Having left from Gate 73,293 at Heathrow (a 4-day walk assisted by native Sherpas and some well-prepared maps) I felt I should get a discount on the flight. I'm certain I walked at least half the distance door-to-door.
