Transistors

"Once a transistor receives a signal outside of its limits, it 'clips' the portion of signal it cannot handle out, and passes through the remainder of it. This is because they are digital, and the can only funtion completely on or off. Vacuum tubes, because they are analogue, are far more flexible. "

This is wrong. Transistors are not inherently digital any more than tubes, and distortion in a tube amp is also a result of clipping. The difference in sound is due to far more subtle effects.
