I had the unfortunate experience recently of trying some Peanut Butter imported from the US. It certainly looked nice when I opened it, and it spread wonderfully over my toast, but upon my first bite something went dreadfully amuck. It didn't taste right at all. In fact, it was damned awful. I checked the ingredients, and found the fault at once. Some bloody fool had put sugar in it! What kind of demented nincompoop would add sugar to Peanut Butter? It's an outrage, an attrocious defilement. I'll never trust anything American again!

I didnt know peanut butter had enough sugar in it to taste. It could be that I am just used to American peanut butter. I suppose British peanut butter would taste funny to me the way American peanut butter taste funny to you..
