I specially like to eat marmite on cream crackers and wash it down with a smiley - empty of tropical fruit smiley - oj. I usually have this late at night and I always make my mess and my fingers and my face end up covered in marmite.smiley - smiley

Hey I agree, after moving to the states a couple of months ago and finding the bread here sucks (it's very sweet for some reason?) bagels are the perfect substitiute. Even un-toasted bagels with lots of butter and marmite all mixed into a kind of paste works!!!!!!

The only problem I have is limited supplies of the stuff so can't spread it as thick as would normally!

Save yourself the pain...buy a breadmaker...they are WONDERFUL! (at least, after you've adjusted the recipes to your liking)

I once wrote to the makers of Marmite. In the letter I simply stated "I love Marmite" believing that stating my case straight and to the point was the best way.

However, all I received in return for my tremendous effort in both buying Marmite and composing the letter was a simple "please continue to enjoy our products".

Was it worth it, I ask you?
