A Conversation for Marmite

I must say there's nothing I enjoy quite as much on a wintry morning, preferably a Sunday to give one more time to indulge in preparation and consumption of breakfast treats, than a big old Marmite/marmalade sandwich. Traditionally I have always favoured toasted, bitty brown bread with lots of real butter, and a chunky, thick-cut marmalade which really makes you chew on that peel. In such a combination almost any amount of marmite can easily be consumed in a single sitting, provided an appropriately large quantity of marmalade is also used to balance the flavours. Simply prepare a slice of toast of either flavour in the usual manner, then splat together! Heaven.
For an extra special treat, how about spreading your marmalade on either side (careful now!) of some thick, soft white bread, then sandwiching said double-sided orange bready between two thickly-smeared pieces of classic marmite-on-toast. Sensational!
