Marmite-flavoured corn snacks...
I really couldn't describe the flavour, it's certainly unique. It's VERY strong - eating, say, a teaspoon full would be revolting and would probably make me throw up. Potent stuff.

It sounds like a vegetable version of peanut butter--only not as yummy. Is this correct?

Not really, I'm afraid...
It's more concentrated and significantly less peanutty, for one thing! If you spread Marmite on with the same volume as you would peanut butter, I think it could actually kill you. Nearly.

marmite tastes like I think I remember meat tasting before I gave it up 18 years ago. it is very salty and addictive. I have found myself going on full marmite binges at times. tastes nice drunk like bovril too

When I was in the RAF I used to work with a guy that would scour the mess hall for a new jar of marmite, then attack it with a spoon. He'd get at least half of it eaten. (We're talking a jar the sise of a tennis ball here!

Er... okay! I didn't realise he, er you, was you, Bassman. Then I suppose that was the point. Or was it? Does there have to be a point? I don't know, I'm only asking the questions.
