A Conversation for Unix

Some time ago I did a course on Human Computer Interfaces as part of my Post Graduate Diploma. One of the articles I read as part of the course stated that the only difference between an expert Unix user and a novice is that the expert knows where to go to find the information he/she needs to be able to use the operating system. Having used Unix myself, I know that this is true.

How true! I was recently trained to use a Unix as part of my job. I understand the job, but trying to work the Unix to actually HELP me do my job is another story!!

I have been a Systems Administrator on Unix based systems for several years now and personally I can't see what all the fuss is about.
Yes Unix has got its foibles and it is sometimes hard to find commands etc but its okay.Really it is.........
