Just wondering - is Bishop Wilfrid the same Wilfrid who was sent to convert the heathens in the Meon valley, Hampshire? There is a plaque to wilfrid in Warnford Church, Hants. If so they got around a bit in those days didn't they? Can anyone confirm this?

References to Wilfrid are all around the 7th and early 8th Centuries.
It would seem he was also a bit of a renegade too!
