OK, That old forum takes to long to load. So here is one for the future of games.
For xmas 26199 I would also ask for Quake III, as I haven't played ANY of the Quake serie (sad I know but only recently got a home PC)
It's sad that there doesn't seem to be plans to release the second G Police game on the PC as the first was a corker.
Of course you could go to the bargain bin as there are loads of last years games going very cheap.
Happy xmas.

I would gladly accept the new game that is based on the Unreal engine. I forget it's name but it is a firstperson shooter that is based in a fantasy realm. I have been lead to understand that the gane is based on Robert Jordans books.

Just seen Quake III has been realesed in the UK. The spec for the machine seems overboard. Has anyone played it on a PC like mine with basic on-board (3D 8MB) of graphics? or will I be pushing my luck?

I am running QIII on a 333 with 64 mb ram and a 3dfx voodoo card and it is choppy on my system. But when you get your video card driver updated and tweak the video settings, it rocks. Oh yeah..... The bots you play against for single player are *very* good.
